Arianne Dekker
Since the year 2004 Arianne Dekker autonomously takes photographs under the name Visual Eye Talk. She has been specializing in making analogue documentary photographs and in making portraits on location. During these sessions the personality and unique traits of every child and every adult will be captured on film with the aim to make a photographic document in black&white or color.
From October 2006 until August 2009 she has had private photography lessons by Mich Buschman, who is a professional photographer and a teacher at the School For Photography in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands) and also technical editor of the monthly photography magazine, Focus. She is trained by him to become an analogue professional photographer.
‘By taking photographs with a roll of film I want to shoot photos calmer and more thoughtfully then when using a digital camera because by creating a limited number of images I am better able to concentrate on the subject. The interpretation and the feeling of the situation will reflect better in a thoughtfully made photo with the best material that is available and by a professional, artistic photographer. The beauty of the grain and the softness of roll film are difficult to match with digital photography. Each roll of film is different, and each photo is unique’.
Some statements of clients:
- You take photographs of children and adults on a pure and authentic fashion.
- Those photos of children's faces are striking.
- You must have a special talent to attain such an interaction with the child. If you would not have that you would not succeed in presenting such extraordinary photographs. Really beautiful!
